Book Illustration Storytelling

This project was conceived during my masters' degree in Design and Multimedia.
The rules were: 

Tell a story of our childhood common memory using only one shape (I chose the line), NO TEXT and two colors - and respective gradation/shade - knowing that one of them must be black (I chose pink).

My choices were made in attempt to promote an abstraction of mental and visual maps that tend to shape our minds and the preception of what surrounds us, going against the predictable circular shape to represent the pigs, for instance.
